Traveling with a group gives you the opportunity to try something new with the support of your fellow travelers and Tour Director. Group Coordinator Eldora P. recently discovered this for herself while on our Peru Convention Tour. Read on for her inspiring story.
As an experienced traveler and Group Coordinator, Eldora had journeyed across much of Europe to countries where she was comfortable with the language, the culture and the people. She always dreamed of visiting Machu Picchu, but the challenges she might face in Peru—from high altitudes to mountain hikes—seemed daunting.
Once on tour, Eldora took on every challenge that came her way. She found out that she was able to do everything she was nervous about with the support of her group and Tour Director. From meeting Andean people to spotting exotic wildlife to hiking mountains, she did it all while surrounded by the most beautiful landscapes.
Have you ever tried doing something outside of your comfort zone while on tour? We’d love to hear about your experience in the comments.
