The benefits to group travel are many—perhaps our favorite thing about it is being able to share the experience with others. Just take it from our travelers:
Once you’ve connected with fellow travelers on tour, keeping in touch post-trip becomes an important part of the experience as well. Here are our favorite ways to keep the memories alive (and make sure you have a travel buddy for your next trip!).
Collect email addresses from your fellow travelers before your tour is over, then start an email chain to keep in touch once you return.
For fellow travelers who live in your area, schedule in-person get-togethers once a year (or once every six months) to catch up, relive moments from your tour and start planning a new trip.
Order postcards made with your favorite photo you captured on tour, then send it in the mail to your fellow group members. Never underestimate the power of a handwritten note—or a surprise letter!
Make a DVD with photos from your trip, then invite some of your travelers over to watch it as you enjoy refreshments that remind you of tour, which is what travelers Darlene H. and Pat H. do.
